Attacking Uttar Pradesh Minister Azam Khan for terming him as a "blot" on administrative officers, suspended IPS officer Amitabh Thakur today said that he (Khan) only preferred "sycophant and servile" officers.

"Khan's bad-mouthing against me once again establishes that he does not like rule-oriented nationalist officers but only prefers sycophant and servile government servants who don't even hesitate in demolishing Valmiki houses inhabited for years," Thakur said.

"I have gone to Rampur with wife Nutan Thakur, and our open resistance of this draconian act (of getting houses demolished) did not go down well with him who has got used to hearing only yes to every wrong wish", he said.

Khan has yesterday said in Rampur that Thakur is "blot on administrative officers".

"Thakur has mean mentality and is an absurd person. His place is in the jail as he tried to orchestrate riots in Rampur," Khan had alleged.
