Rapper Azealia Banks has cancelled the remainder of her US tour.

The 212 artist was scheduled to bring her live show to five cities across America throughout the month of November (15), but she shared the disappointing news she will be on the road as planned with fans, reported Billboard online.

"Hi guys, I'm very busy at work. Your coins will be refunded and I will be back in January," Banks wrote on Twitter.

The 24-year-old rapper has cancelled all but one gig - he New York City gig at Terminal 5 will still take place on November.

This is the second time this year Banks has cancelled a string of gigs. In July, she was due to tour with R&B singer K Michelle, but decided to scrap the trek in a bid to avoid overworking herself with multiple projects.

Banks' autumn tour dates were the rescheduled gigs from her initial tour with K Michelle.
