A team of Bangladesh Civil Services (BCS) officials today arrived at the collectorate here for a special training session during which they interacted with district administration officials.
During the session District Magistrate Vimal Kumar Sharma discussed administrative issues and the functioning of various government bodies here with the visiting BCS officials, district information officer Surendra Sharma said.
India and Bangladesh have cultural similarities and civic problems in both the countries are more or less similar, DM Sharma said as he shared with the visiting officials measures taken by district administration to manage law and order, handle various civic issues.

Besides, Sharma also suggested measures to them to generate more revenue, the information officer said.
Further the visiting BCS officials were informed about the 'Tehsil Divas' and the 'Samadhan Divas' initiatives used by district administration to interact with people and resolve local issues, he added.
The meeting was attended by all administrative officials of the district.
