B L Joshi, who has been getting gubernatorial postings since 2004, was today appointed as Governor of Uttar Pradesh for a second term.
A Rashtrapati Bhawan communique said Joshi would continue as Governor of UP for the second term with effect from the date of assuming the office.
78-year-old Joshi was sworn-in Governor of Uttar Pradesh on July 28, 2009.
