B.Tech student dies under mysterious circumstances

A B.Tech student at the Dr BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology died under mysterious circumstances today, police said.

The deceased, identified as Paras Himanshu Vishodya, was a second year B.Tech student. He hailed from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh.

Although the campus was initially abuzz with the story that the youth had committed suicide, preliminary inquiries by police suggested that the student was suffering from a high temperature leading to his death.

"When Paras opened the hostel room door today, he was trembling due to high fever," said his roommate.

"I rushed him to a private hospital along with some friends but the doctors there doctors declared him brought dead," the roommate added.
 

Police, meanwhile, said that no suicide note had been recovered from the deceased's room, which had neither yielded any poisonous substance.

The post-mortem and viscera report would explain the cause of death, police said.
