Bollywood celebrities including Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh among others congratulated new father Tusshar Kapoor, who became a single parent through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and surrogacy.
Tusshar, 39, announced today in a statement that he became the father of baby boy Laksshya.
His sister Ekta Kapoor was one of the firsts to wish him on micro-blogging site Twitter.
"Aab Hum Paanch @TusshKapoor," she wrote.
Filmmaker Johar said, "Am so thrilled to hear this news @TusshKapoor... Huge congratulations and all my love.... Bless the family with the best years ahead...."
Farah, who also opted for IVF to give birth to her triplets, said, "Congratulations @TusshKapoor on becoming a father... Not everyone has your courage... God bless your lil Angel."
"Congratulations Tushki! @TusshKapoor welcome to the best years of your life. You're going to make a superb dad. Lots of love," Bachchan tweeted.
Tusshar's "Great Grand Mast" co-star Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, "Congratulations my dearest @TusshKapoor -couldn't be more thrilled. Welcome to the world of parenting. Love & blessings to the new born."
Riteish's wife Genelia Deshmukh, who recently gave birth to the couple's second child, said, "Congratulations @TusshKapoor ... Welcome to this magical world.. So happy for you.
