B-town wishes fans 'Eid Mubarak'

Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Karan Johar, among others have wished fans a happy and prosperous 'Eid-ul-Zuha'.

The celebrities took to Twitter to extend their wishes on the auspicious occasion.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan not only prayed to God for love and peace among all, he also asked people to stay united as the three festivals Dussehra, Eid and festival of Jewish people, Yom Kippur, fell on the same date this year.

"EID MUBARAK...! may the Almighty bring love togetherness and peace among us all. Dushera.. Yom Kippur.. Eid.. All festivals falling at same time together.. Then why can we not all be together in peace!!" the 71-year-old actor tweeted.
 

'24' star Anil Kapoor, wrote, "Wishing everyone a very happy Eid-ul-Adha!! May Allah accept all your Duas."

"EidMubarak to everyone... Love and positivity always..," tweeted filmmaker Karan Johar.

Actress Preity Zinta said she wishes to relish seviyan, a sweet dish served especially during Eid.

"Eid Mubarak to all my friends in India & All over the world ! May this day be filled with love, happiness, peace, hugs & saivaiyya :-) Ting," Preity said.

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi said she missed her family on the festival as she is currently out of country.

"Sabko Eid mubarak. Missing family and home. No sheer qorma or biryani here in Leeds. Will have 2 make do with Chocolates and Shepherds Pie," she wrote.

Dancing diva Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Sophie Choudry, Ameesha Patel and Sujoy Ghosh also wished their fans a prosperous Eid.
