A British Airways flight to London was today cancelled and the 268 passengers have been accommodated in hotels.
Airport officials said the flight was cancelled due to "technical reasons," and the stranded passengers have been accommodted in hotels. They would be taken to London in the next flight, which is expected tomorrow.
British Airways website said, "following the major IT system failure experienced throughout Saturday, we are continuing to work hard to fully restore all of our global IT systems."
Also, it said,"we expect some further disruption today, but we are aiming to operate the majority of services from Heathrow and a near normal schedule at Gatwick.
