Glasgow Commonwealth Games gold medallists Babita Kumari and Vinesh Phogat will spearhead a four-member Indian women's wrestling team at the Asian Games to be held in Incheon, Korea from September 19 to October 4.

Besides cousins Babita and Vinesh, CWG silver medallist Geetika Jakhar (66kg) and Jyoti (75kg) are the other two grapplers who have made the cut in the Asian Games list.

The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) announced the women's freestyle squad for the Asian Games today after the trials were held in Lucknow.

Jyoti was the lone wrestler in the 14-member India team, which went to Glasgow Games, who finished without a medal at the event.

While other CWG medallists -- Lalita (silver 53kg), Sakshi Malik (silver in 58kg) and Navjot Kaur (bronze in 69kg) -- missed out on being a part of the Indian squad for the Asiad, as there will be only four freestyle weight categories for women during the Incheon Games.

Meanwhile, both men's and women's teams for the FILA World Wrestling Championship to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from September 8 to 14 will be finalised in a couple of days.

Women's squad for Asian Games: Vinesh Phogat (48kg), Babita (55kg), Geetika Jakhar (63kg) and Jyoti (75kg).
