The organising committee of the 10th Vishwa Hindi Sammelan said here today that Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan will not be able to attend the event's concluding function, due to "unavoidable reasons".
"Amitabh Bachchan will not attend the 10th Vishwa Hindi Sammelan since he has undergone a tooth surgery earlier in the day," a senior member of the organising committee told PTI.
The conference was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh be the chief guest of the concluding function tomorrow.
