Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) general secretary and former MP Prem Singh Chandumajra said this at a press conference here today.
Badal gave the nod at a recent meeting to take stock of development works in these areas, he said.
Giving details of these projects, the former MP said the Chief Minister approved a Rs 30 crore project for cleaning drinking water and laying sewerage in all wards of Sirhind and Fatehgarh Sahib and outer colonies.
Chandumajra said a Rs 13 crore project has been approved for strengthening local powercom infrastructure due to which uninterrupted power supply will be provided in all wards and colonies of the town.
