Paying rich tributes to the freedom fighters, the Chief Minister noted that Punjabis had played a key role in India's freedom struggle.

He called upon the people to work towards creating Punjab as envisioned by great freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh and Lala Lajpat Rai.
