"Inducting new faces in the government will hardly make any difference as countrymen are very well aware of UPA's anti-people policies. People were totally fed up," he said.

He said that rather than resorting to such tactics the Congress party must enact pro-people policies which could ensure the development and progress of the country.

Badal said had the Congress-led UPA taken solid steps to control rampant corruption there was no need for such an exercise.
