Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today visited the house of Vidhu Jain, who was brutally killed a few days ago, and condoled his death.
Badal, who was accompanied by Cabinet Minister Bikram Singh Majithia and Rajya Sabha MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, said the state government would leave no stone unturned to trace the killers of the 11-year-old boy, an official spokesman said.
Badal assured his family members that the culprits would soon be nabbed.
Lauding the Malerkotla residents - a Muslim dominated area of Punjab - for being the flag bearers of communal harmony, peace and brotherhood, the Chief Minister said people of this town have once again upheld the long tradition of love and mutual cooperation by maintaining law and order.
