A bag containing 16 ancient 'panchaloha' (of five metals) idols was found abandoned in a public toilet near the new bus stand in this town today, the police said.
They said a sanitary worker, who found the bag, had informed police.
Police, who seized the bag, said there were 'very ancient' idols inside it and an old lamp.
As per initial investigations some persons from Kerala had left it in the toilet, they said.
