Beleaguered Mohun Bagan today called an emergent executive meeting tomorrow to take stock of the crisis arising out of the resignation of their top officials and executive committee members after the club crashed out of the Federation Cup football tournament in Goa.

A day after the top three officials -- president Swapan Sadhan Bose, secretary Anjan Mitra and finance secretary Debasish Dutta -- stepped down, a few members of the executive committee members followed suit today.

However, club's seniormost vice-president Subrata Mukherjee, who is also the West Bengal Panchayat minister, today claimed that the executive committee was yet to receive any resignation.

"We have to sort this out and hence we will have a emergent executive committee meeting tomorrow," Mukherjee said.

It's also likely that the date of elections of the club, which is slated for later this month or early February, would be announced in the meeting tomorrow.
