Bahuguna met Union Industries Minister Anand Sharma in New Delhi and sought relaxation of land related norms for Uttarakhand in view of paucity of land in the hill state for industrial purposes in the proposed National Manufacturing Policy, an official release here said.
Accompanied by a host of senior government officials from the state, including Principal Secretary Industrial Development Rakesh Sharma, the chief minister met Sharma especially to acquaint him with the problems peculiar to the state due to its large parts being located in high altitudes, it said.
