With the Leader of rebel Congress MLAs Vijay Bahuguna advocating early assembly polls in Uttarakhand, former Chief Minister Harish Rawat today took a dig at him asking him to approach his "new masters" with the request, saying he was sure that his predecessor's second wish will be granted like the first one.
"He (Bahuguhna) should go to his new masters and ask them to dissolve the state assembly. I am sure they will be kind enough to fulfil his second wish as as they did his first by dislodging my government," Rawat said when asked to comment on Bahuguna's suggestion for early elections in Uttarakhand.
Bahuguna, the most prominent among the nine Congress MLAs who aligned with BJP to demand a division of votes on the Appropriation Bill in the state assembly triggering a political crisis, today said he was in favour of early assembly polls in the state so that people could decide which way they wanted to go.
