Bajaj Allianz General Insurance today introduced a group personal accident cover for school children, offering protection to the kids travelling in a pre- registered bus to the school.
The plan, which covers the school kids during their travel hours in a pre-registered bus by the school, used IoT to track the children with beacons and buses through GPS providing real-time location.
The policy provides cover against accidental OPD and accidental hospitalisation of school kids.

Welcoming the decision of refund of accumulated Input Tax Credit (ITC) at the fabric stage, the textile industry said it was the "need of the hour" as the sector is facing a lot of difficulties while competing in the international market.
"We have been requesting the government to give relief to the fabric segment as it plays an important role for the overall growth of the textile sector, and it also generates a sizable employment opportunities. Hence, decision is a big relief to the textile sector," Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) chairman Sanjay K Jain said in a release here.

Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccine division of Sanofi, announced today the launch of its 4-strain influenza vaccine FluQuadri in India.
It will be India's first quadrivalent vaccine that will provide broader protection against all four strains of influenza viruses, a release said here.
According to the World Health Organization's (WHO) estimates, the influenza annual global attack rates are estimated at 5-10 per cent in adults and 20-30 per cent in children. The WHO has recommended the inclusion of the quadrivalent vaccine for 2018-19.
The vaccine is made in Swiftwater, USA and available in 26 countries across the world.
