Bajaj Auto Q2 net profit dips marginally to Rs 1,194 cr

Bajaj Auto today reported a marginal decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,193.58 crore for the September quarter, 2017-18.

The Pune-based company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,200.72 crore for the July-September period of last fiscal.

Total income of the company, however, rose to Rs 6,863.61 crore as compared with Rs 6,775.03 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Bajaj Auto said in a regulatory filing.

During the second quarter of the current fiscal, the company sold 10,71,510 units, up 4 per cent from 10,31,945 units in the same period of previous fiscal.

Bajaj Auto shares were trading 1.65 per cent up at Rs 3,275.05 on BSE.
