FMCG firm Bajaj Corp on Friday reported a 23.94 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 58.29 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
It had reported a net profit of Rs 47.03 crore in the July-September quarter a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing.
Bajaj Corp's net sales during the quarter under review was up 3.46 per cent to Rs 196.14 crore as against Rs 189.57 crore in the corresponding quarter of last financial year.
Its total expenses were also up 3.40 per cent to Rs 130.66 crore as against Rs 126.36 crore.
Shares of Bajaj Corp were trading 1.09 per cent lower at Rs 396.10 apiece on BSE.
