Shares of Bajaj Finance today soared nearly 8 per cent after the company reported a jump of 61 per cent in standalone net profit in the last quarter ended March 2018.
The stock jumped 7.75 per cent to end at Rs 2,067.25 on BSE. During the day, it surged 8.86 per cent to Rs 2,088.80 -- its 52-week high.
On NSE, shares of the company gained 7.70 per cent to close at Rs 2,067.95.
The company's market valuation also went up by Rs 8,581.45 crore to Rs 1,19,472.45 crore.
In terms of equity volume, 3.22 lakh shares of the company were traded on BSE and over 55 lakh shares changed hands on NSE during the day.
