Bajaj Hindustan Sugar today reported widening of its standalone net loss to Rs 538.61 crore during three months ended March 31, 2015.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 423.90 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, it said in a BSE filing.
Net income declined to Rs 1,205.99 crore during the fourth quarter of 2014-15 fiscal from Rs 1,329.92 crore in the same period previous year.

The company's finance cost rose to Rs 210.34 crore from Rs 166.84 crore in the period under the review.
However for the year ended March 31, the company's standalone net loss narrowed to Rs 1,097.22 crore from Rs 1,479.93 crore in the year-ago period.
But net income declined to Rs 4,531.46 crore in the 2014-15 fiscal from Rs 4,711.36 crore in the previous year.
The country's largest sugar producer has 14 plants with aggregated cane crushing capacity of 1,36,000 tonnes crushed per day, and alcohol distillation capacity of 800 kilo litres per day.
