Bajaj launches Pulsar AS 200 and AS 150

While AS 200 comes at an introductory price of Rs 91,550, AS 150 is priced at Rs 79,000, ex-showroom Delhi

Bajaj Auto today expanded its Pulsar range of bikes in the country with the launch of two new models AS 150 and AS 200, priced at Rs 79,000 and Rs 91,550 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The company has launched the two models, AS 200 and AS 150, under the Pulsar Adventure Series.

While AS 200 comes at an introductory price of Rs 91,550, the AS 150 variant is priced at Rs 79,000.

Commenting on the launch, Bajaj Auto Ltd President (Motorcycles Business) Eric Vaz said: "The Pulsar Adventure Sport series will be a delight to young bikers who want to fulfil their need of daily city riding, while at the same time desire to explore vast and incredible outdoors over the weekends."
 

The company has always been a market leader in terms of product initiatives and has continuously expanded the Pulsar range to cater to various consumer preferences in the sports segment, he added.

"The Adventure Sports Series will further expand and grow this segment by offering a product which matches up to the new age consumer's lifestyle and riding requirements," Vas said.

Bajaj first brought the Pulsar to the Indian market in 2001.

At present, the Pulsar range sells around 60,000 units every month in the domestic sports motorcycle market with a leadership market share of 43 per cent, making it India's top sports bike for 14 years in a row.

The Pune-based company's Pulsar range comprises Pulsar 220, Pulsar NS 200, Pulsar RS 200, Pulsar 180, 150 and 135.
