BJP State President Laxmikant Bajpai today said there was every possibility of assembly election in Uttar Pradesh taking place next year instead of 2017 keeping in view the "poor" law and order situation.
"Keeping in view the poor law and order situation and problems being faced by the people in getting basic amenities, it is sure that instead of 2017, state assembly elections will take place next year," Bajpai told reporters here last night.
Bajpai, who was here to induct three local BSP leaders into BJP, claimed that the party would form the government in the state "next year".
