In restricted activity, bajra prices eased further by Rs 20 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on increased supplies from producing regions against reduced offtake by consuming industries.

However, other grains moved in a narrow range in scattered trade and settled around previous levels.

Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries against sufficient stocks coupled with increased supplies from producing belts kept pressure on bajra prices.

In the national capital, bajra fell further by Rs 20 to Rs 1,190-1,195 per quintal.
