Bajra prices slid by Rs 30 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries.

However, other grains continued to trade in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said sluggish demand from consuming industries against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on bajra prices.

In the national capital, bajra eased by Rs 30 to Rs 1,280-1,285 per quintal.
