Protesting against director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie Ram Leela's controversial content, Bajrang Dal workers today prevented cinema hall owners here from exhibiting the movie.

"We have prevented nearly five cinema halls from showing 'Ram Leela' because of it's controversial content," Bajrang Dal's Indore division convener Sachin Baghel said.

Though the title of the film is 'Ram Leela', it has lot of "obscene" content, like Lord Hanuman dancing, which hurt Hindu sentiments, he said.

However, the police said that it has provided security to cinema halls where the movie is being exhibited, in order to prevent any untoward incident.
