Activists of right-wing organisations Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad attacked a theatre here showing Aamir Khan-starrer film 'PK', police said today.

Activists of Bajrang Dal and VHP yesterday entered premises of Shree Talkies, tore posters of the film and shouted anti-Aamir Khan slogans, police said.

They also threatened the manager of the theatre to stop the screening of the film, they added.

A complaint has been filed by the manager of the cinema hall, SP (City) Sameer Saurabh said, adding that investigations were on.

The organisations are protesting against the film in several parts of the country alleging that it hurts the religious sentiments of the Hindu community.

Bajrang Dal activists also attacked theatres screening the film in Ahmedabad today, while protests were held in Jammu and Bhopal.

The film, which released on December 19, takes a swipe at organised religion and godmen.
