Ball kids hunt for IPTL on Saturday and Sunday

Mahesh Bhupati Tennis Academies (MBTA) will conduct a two-day hunt to select ball kids for the hugely popular

International Premier Tennis League (IPTL), beginning December 10.

Players, in age bracket of 12 to 16 years, enrolled with the MBTA Centres in Delhi and NCR as well as some schools will compete on October 24 and 25 at Maple Town and Country Club.

"The selected kids will then be trained for three to four days in Delhi. The hunt will test the kids on their speed, agility, mobility, stamina as well as their knowledge of the game, an IPTL release said.
 

Commenting on the initiative, Gaurav Natekar, CEO of MBTA said, "Being part of the Ball Kids group will give the young tennis aspirants a chance to be in close proximity with the international players like Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, Sania Mirza, etc., and observe their tennis idols live in action.
