True to its vision, this time around, Palladium unveiled a splendid Christmas Ballet Dcor based on The Nutcracker. With the festivities around the corner and to ring in Christmas cheer, customers were treated to a signature Christmas Ballet performance. They experienced a sparkling journey through magical lands, dancing snowflakes, waltzing flowers, red & white candy canes swirling into mother gingers bustle and all melting into the fabled love of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Nutcracker Prince. One of Palladium's grandest installations and the first-of-a-kind in the city - The Nutcracker captivated the customers with its resplendence.
The dcor and installation is curated by High Street Phoenix and produced by Surreal Design Studio. The concept takes inspiration from Tchaikovsky's famous ballet, The Nutcracker, which revolves around Christmas time. This time of celebration and cheer is depicted through the elegance and grandiose of a ballet. The installation shows ballet dancers inside a beautifully lit and colourful gazebo representing the Christmas magnificence and festivity. The structure was created over the period of a month with the painstaking effort of about 50 people. The vibrant exterior that decks up the structure was made with 300 acrylic sheets and lit up with almost one lakh lights, each carefully crafted to size and attached.
Present at the occasion was connoisseur of all things fine - Soha Ali Khan to unveil the magnanimous installation. Commenting on her association, she said, "Palladium is always leading the fore of luxury, lifestyle and entertainment in the city. With this magnanimous installation and artistic performance, Palladium has again set a benchmark in the city. A Ballet performance by Ava Bharucha exemplified the installation and the Christmas mood leaving the consumers spell bound. Performing an English ballet themed on the life of celebrated violinist Paganini, Ava mesmerized the audience. Commenting on her association with Palladium, Ava said, "As an artist, we are always looking for innovative narrations to express our art form, and what better way than to collaborate with Palladium in this festive season. The pioneer in all things magnanimous and grand, this is the perfect association to showcase my performance and first-of-its-kind in the city."
The unveiling of curtain had laser light & sound show. The installation was complimented by live performance of Grand Piano at Festival Square stage. The experience began at 6 pm and lasted for an hour. With the city's swish set attending the fanfare, it was a star-studded evening with celebrities and influencers from all walks of life like Ms. Amrita Kilachand & Ms. Maadhuri R. Sharma. A one stop for all things entertainment like hospitality, shopping, performances - Palladium is the place to be this festive season.
