Senior Congress leader Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu today demanded that Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das make public details of investments the state has attracted.

The Chief Minister is claiming that the state government has succeeded in luring investors. Then why doesn't it make it public, asked Balmuchu, former Jharkhand Pradesh Congress president.

Earlier this month, Das had claimed that an investment of Rs 58,000 crore have been attracted and of them, work on projects worth Rs 32,000 crore would begin soon.

Balmuchu said the state government should reveal the details of investment sector-wise and land allotted for the proposed units, if the claim is true.

Voices are being raised from within the ruling NDA about the development work carried out during last one year of Das government, the Rajya Sabha MP said referring to the recent statement of BJP leaders Karia Munda and Jharkhand Food

Minister Saryu Roy in regard with development.

Balmuchu alleged that not a single project has been implemented on ground in last one year of Das government.

Referring to Congress' victory in Lohardaga Assembly by-poll recently, Balmuchu said BJP's morale was down since they lost the poll.

He said it was an appropriate opportunity for the opposition to unite in Jharkhand and put up a consensus candidate in the Godda Assembly seat, which fell vacant following the death of BJP's sitting MLA Raghunandan Mandal recently.
