Alleging that BJP was misusing the unofficial voter's identity slips, Congress today lodged a complaint with the Election Commission demanding that such materials be "seized" and a public notice be issued against using such slips.

It said that as against the rules, the slips contain the name of the BJP along with the party symbol and slogans to vote for BJP in the Delhi Assembly polls.

The slips also carry the photograph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi.

"It is requested that all slips may kindly be seized forthwith and necessary instructions may be issued to the CEO, DEO's Delhi and the Delhi Police to recover and seize all such material.

"A public notice may also be issued informing the public in general that all such slips issued and distributed by BJP are illegal and should not be used," the party demanded in its letter to the Election Commission.
