Weather remained largely dry throughout Uttar Pradesh today, while heat wave conditions were observed at some places.
According to the Meteorological Department, the day temperatures rose in Gorakhpur, Faizabad, Varanasi, Allahabad, Lucknow, Moradabad, Jhansi, Agra, Meerut, Kanpur and Bareilly.
The highest maximum temperature of 43.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at Banda, while the lowest minimum temperature of 18.3 degrees Celsius was recorded at Rae Bareli.
The weather is likely to remain dry over the state, the MeT officials said. Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in the state, they added.
