Bandaru elected president of Telangana Loksatta

Bandaru Ramamohan Rao of Hyderabad has been elected president and Marepally Srinivas Reddy of Nalgonda general secretary of the Telangana state committee of the Loksatta Party.

Members of the adhoc committee for Telangana appointed by Loksatta Party national president Jayaprakash Narayan elected the office-bearers by secret ballot at a meeting held at the party headquarters here yesterday, a party release said.

P Kodanda Rama Rao, chairman of the disciplinary committee, presided over the meeting.

Narayan later ratified the office-bearer's election.

Following are the other office-bearers: vice presidents: M Pandu Ranga Rao (Hyderabad), Geeta Murthy (Open-Nizamabad/Hyderabad), Md Gouse Mouniddin (Minority/ BC/SC/ST- Mahaboobnagar), Maheswarapu Gattaiah (Warangal) and D Laxmi (Women-Hyderabad).
 

Secretaries: Thummanapally Srinivas (Medak), Sathuluri Govinda Rao (Nalgonda), Kurma Jagan (Ranga Reddy), Bollam Ravi (Karimnagar), Saroja Devi (Women-Hyderabad) and Jatti Ravi (SC/ST/Minority-Warangal). Treasurer: P Bhaskar Rao (Hyderabad).

S Gajanani and P Shivaji Raju, both from Hyderabad, have been elected presidents of Mahila and Yuva Sattas.
