Bandh disrupts normal life in Nagaland

All shops and business establishments in the capital town Kohima and commercial hub Dimapur remained closed while the bandh hit normal traffic on the road.

Attendance was thin in government offices, banks and other financial institutions across the state.

However, schools and colleges remained closed as government declared a holiday.

Vehicular traffic was disrupted and shops and business establishments downed shutters as the bandh began this morning.

The strike was part of North East Students Organisation
