Bandhan Bank plans to open 180 new branches by March next year with an aim to build a pan India brand.
Talking about the bank's future strategies, Bandhan Bank Managing Director and CEO Chandra Shekhar Ghosh today said they are working on its branding to make it a pan India one.
Currently, Bandhan Bank have 670 branches and would go upto 850 in total by March 2017, he said adding majority of the branches would be opened outside West Bengal.
"We have aimed to open up branches at deposit pockets in the country. We are doing a branding as a pan India bank. It will be done in a new way at ground level. And by next March we will be opening up around 180 new branches," Ghosh told reporters on the sidelines of Business-IT Conclave organised by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I)today.
