Bangladesh and Nepal will fight it out with leading Indian teams in the Golden Jubilee All India basketball tournament for PSG trophy and 13th CRI Pumps event for women, to be played here for six days from July 25.
For the first time, the trophy will have the participation of an international team in each category, Managing trustee of PSG Institutions, L Gopalakrishnan told reporters here today.
While Bangladesh team will fight it out with eight leading Indian teams, Nepal has confirmed its entry into the Women's tournament, played on league basis, he said.

Besides Bangladesh, who is in the first 25 bracket at international level, holders ONGC, Dehradun, Indian Navy and Indian Army, both Delhi, Indian Overseas Bank (Chennai), Punjab State, Punjab, Customs, Cochin, ICF Chennai and Electricity Board, Kerala would form the men's teams, he said.
Reigning champions Southern Railway-Chennai, Electricity Board-Kerala, South Central Railway-Secunderabad, South Eastern Central Railway-Bilaspur, Western Railway- Mumbai, Eastern Railway-Kolkatta and Nepal will vie for the title in the women's category, played on league basis, Gopalakrishnan said.
With the participation of international teams, both the organisors, PSG and CRI Pumps propose to make this tournament as an Asian level championship in the near future, G Selvaraju, Joint Managing Director, CRI Pumps, said.
