The Bangladesh government has invited West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to visit the neighbouring country.
A highly-placed state government source told PTI that an invitation came yesterday through official channels to visit Bangaldesh from February 19-22.
The timing coincides with 'Bhasha Diwas' which is observed every year on February 21 to pay tribute to language martyrs in Bangladesh.
