Bangladeshi held with gold biscuits at Agartala airport

A Bangladeshi was arrested with 12 gold biscuits valued at Rs 39 lakh at Agartala airport this evening, police said.

The person hailing from Comilla district of Bangladesh was to board a flight to Kolkata.

Police said CISF personnel found the gold biscuits weighing 1.2 kilogram during routine search.

The Bangladeshi entered Tripura through Akhaura international check-post near here this afternoon and reached the airport.
