Bangladeshi hoodlums attack villager

The police said one of the hoodlums was caught and beaten severely by residents of Betai-Bishtunagar village in the Tehatta police station area.

Both were rushed to Shaktinagar District Hospital in Krishnagar, Nadia Police Superintendent, Sabyasachi Raman Mishra said.

According to local people, BSF Jawans rescued the injured Bangladeshi miscreant.

The SP said preliminary investigation revealed that the miscreants were all known to Tajim Sheikh whose house was attacked and personal grudge might have been the reason for the assault.
