A Bangladeshi national has been arrested here for allegedly staying in the country without valid documents, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off that a Bangladeshi person was residing in Baduli village, police last evening carried out a raid and arrested Khaliq Ahmad, son of Hamid, a police spokesperson said.
Ahmed was staying at the residence of one Kallu in the village, police said.
Upon investigation it was found that Ahmed did not posses either a passport or a visa, they said.
