A Bangladeshi national with five gold bars on him was arrested by the BSF from the border in Malda district.
Md Jamal was arrested by the BSF from the Gojadanga area of Malda. He was arrested following specific inputs. Five gold bars were recovered from him
In another incident, two persons were arrested along with FICN worth 50,000 from Farakka in Malda district.
The two persons arrested were Abdul Matin and Azrul Sheikh, both residents of Malda.
