Bank of Bhutan selects TCS for core banking solution

Country's largest software services exporter, TCS, today said that Bank of Bhutan has selected its core banking solution (CBS) offering.

Bank of Bhutan, which has a network of 46 branches and 62 automated teller machines (ATMs), has been using rival Oracle's platform since 2009.

"We look forward to working with the Bank of Bhutan in its banking transformation initiative in the context of a strategic and personalised solution roadmap from TCS BaNCS," Tata group company's president for financial solutions, N Ganapathy Subramaniam said.

NHIDCL inks 2 more pacts for projects in Arunachal Pradesh * NHIDCL, an undertaking under Road Transport and Highways Ministry, today said it has signed contracts for two road projects worth Rs 457 crore in Arunachal Pradesh.
 

The projects pertain to widening of two highway stretches on NH 215 and a state road.

"The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) signed two contract agreements for the execution of project two laning of Bordumsa-Nanchik (Buridihing -Jairampur) segment of NH-52-B (New NH-215) of 25 km length from km 0.150 to km 22.360 at an estimated cost of 184.75 crore with M/S BIPL-BVEPL (JV)," it said in a statement.

DLF's malls get highest rating from British Safety Council * Realty major DLF today said it has received the highest rating from British Safety Council for safety standards in its retail complexes located at Gurgaon and Delhi.

Last year, DLF had received the British Safety Council's 5-star rating in occupational health & safety management for its 17 office buildings in Gurgaon.

DLF said in a statement that its "mall complexes in Delhi and Gurgaon are the first in the country to receive the prestigious five-star rating from the British Safety Council."

This is the highest rating awarded by British Safety Council to recognise the 'Best in Class' in Occupational Health & Safety management system.
