Bank of Maharashtra launches mobile app

Pune-based Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) today launched its 'Mahamobile' mobile application in the eastern region for carrying out banking operations on smartphones.

Launching the mobile application here today, field general manager of the bank P B Ambhore said the move would help the young generation, who carry smartphones and use it for various purposes.

The application would be available in Google Playstore, Apple Store and Windows Store.

BoM eastern zonal manager P J Mishra said the region had done a business of Rs 5,500 crore last financial year, which was expected to touch Rs 6,000 crore this fiscal.

The eastern zone covered 12 states including the Northeast with 80 odd branches.
