Actress-singer Barbra Streisand's long-awaited memoir will release in 2017.
After a number of authors claimed to write her biographies, Streisand, 73, is finally writing her own book to relive her memories, reported Ace Showbiz.
"Barbra Streisand's memoir is the entertainment story that has been on the top of every publisher's wish list for years," Publisher Viking said.

The notable singer-actress-director has been writing her memoir since 2009, compiling all the memories from her childhood to her remarkable career.

"There are over fifty unauthorised biographies about Ms Streisand that are full of myths and inaccuracies, and she is finally going to tell her own story," Brian Tart, the president of Viking, said.
In 2006, she slammed one of the unauthorised biographies, Christopher Andersen's "Barbra: The Way She Is".
The star made a response which she titled "Does the Truth Matter These Days?" on her website. She wrote, "Who is the person described in this book? From what has been told to me, certainly not anyone I know. This stereotypic image bears little resemblance to me or anything about me."
This is not the first time Streisand has written a book. In 2010, the same publisher, Viking, published her work titled "My Passion for Design" which described the creation and construction of her farmhouse in California.
