The Ayushman Khurana-Yami Gautam starrer comedy, based on the unusual subject of sperm donation, has garnered 9 nominations.
Ranbir will be competing with Hrithik 'Agneepath', Shah Rukh 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', Manoj Bajpayee 'Gangs of Wasseypur-1', Irrfan Khan 'Paan Singh Tomar' and Ayushmaan in the performance in a leading role category.
The best actress IIFA category is equally competitive with Sridevi 'English Vinglish', Vidya Balan 'Kahaani', Kareena Kapoor 'Heroine', Priyanka 'Barfi!', Deepika Padukone 'Cocktail' and Huma Qureshi 'Gangs of Wasseypur' battling it out.
Best director list has Anurag Basu 'Barfi!', Anurag Kashyap 'Gangs of Wasseypur-1', Sujoy Ghosh 'Kahaani', Tigmanshu Dhulia 'Paan Singh Tomar' and Sircar 'Vicky Donor' vie for the best director category.
While Ranbir is nominated in the best actor category, his father, actor Rishi Kapoor, has earned a nod in the best negative role category for his villaneous turn in 'Agneepath'.
