Barley prices weakened by Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today following reduced offtake by consuming industries against adequate stocks position.

However, other grains moved in a narrow range in limited deals and finished around previous levels.

Marketmen said besides reduced offtake by consuming industries, adequate stocks position in the market mainly kept pressure on barley prices.

In the national capital, barley shed Rs 10 at Rs 1,610-16,20 per quintal.
