Barley prices softened by Rs 20 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake against sufficient supply.
However, other grains traded in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said reduced offtake against sufficient supply mainly kept pressure on barley prices.

In the national capital, barley declined by Rs 20 to Rs 1,350-1,360 per quintal.
