Barring rise in barley prices on pickup in demand from consuming industries, other grains held steady at the wholesale grain market today in the absence of any worthwhile activity.
Traders said pickup in demand from consuming industries amid restricted supplies from producing regions mainly helped barley to trade higher.
In the national capital, barley moved up by Rs 10 to Rs 1,330-1,340 per quintal.
